She has Wings, again

Sharing my sweet card using She has Wings found in the People Digis in the SHOP

I was having printer problems, so used this image again this month, because I already had the image printed.  She is sweet and this time, instead of a Fussy and Fancy card, I made a Sweet and Simple card.

She was colored with my Copic markers, solid and dotted paperlayers and a fun button tied with jute

Oh so SWEET!

Thanks for stopping by today, and check out my blog Simply Frenzied for all the details

Have a great weekend - Karen

Science girl

Hello!!!

Patricia  here with a new card. I made this card thinking in my past (yes, I was a science girl) and all the friends I have that are still wearing the lab coats. I thought on giving you some inspiration with my card, I hope I succeed.

The image is called Science Girl and you can find it in the People's section of the Whimsie Doodles shop. I made the background with some clear stamps and purple markers.

For more details about the card visit my blog.

I hope you like the card. I enjoyed so much making it!

This cutie is Ahoy Lizzie at the top of the Summer Fun Digis page.  She is adorable!!  I just love her outfit!!

I paired her up with some super fun pp scraps and am SUPER happy with how the card came out!  So bright and nautical and fun!!

She has Wings

It's me, Karen here today, to share a card with you. I hope you like it and will feel inspired to create something AWESOME today!

I am using the She has Wings image found in the People Digis tab of the SHOP.  She is cute!

I colored her using my Copic markers in soft pink and blue.  Coordinated with some paper in the same colors theme.

I do not normally do Fussy cards, but this is how this one turned out.  I like it! What do you think?

Thanks for stopping by and I hope you will come back to check out the monthly Challenge starting back up in September. And all the Diva's are sharing card post throughout August to keep you inspired as well.

Feel free to visit my blog for more details about the card.

Hugs - Karen

Leaping Unicorn

Hello everyone, Karen here today with my Design Team inspiration card.  I am using the leaping unicorn from the Unicorn set found in the What's New tab.

I love this image and it was really fun coloring the unicorn with pastel shades, a departure from the usual bright colors I most often use.

I hope you enjoy my card, as I really like the way it came out, simple layout and FUN!

I dug up some matching papers from my scrap box, which I just recently finished sorting and organizing.  Paper scraps can really get out of control in no time, so I am really trying hard to use what I have on hand. I know, you know what I am talking about!

I added the sentiment banner, which is part of the set, then finished the card with three die cut clouds and lavender sequins.

Please visit my blog Simply Frenzied for more details about this card.  Also, I invite you to check out the SHOP for more really cute, whimsical and adorable images, as well as the BLOG for more Design Team inspiration.

Thanks for coming by today - Karen

School of Fish

Hi everyone! Wow, can you believe it, July is almost over and folks here have got back to school on their mind. That's kind of a perfect lead in to my card today.

I'm using the Whimsie Doodles image, School of Fish. It can be found under the Valentine images here.

CAS but kinda fun, right? The background was made with distress ink and the fish were colored with Copic markers.  For more information, you can visit my blog here.

Thanks for checking in!

Honey bee

Hello!!!

Patricia here. I have a great card for Valentine's day!! Isn't she cute!!! I hope you feel inspired with this card with a Whimsie Doodles image. Her name is Honey Bee and you can find her in the Valentine section of the shop

For the background I stamped some bees and honey jars. I think they are from Stampin' up. I colored them with Spectrum Noir markers. That cardstock wasn't very good with the markers so I didn't even try to blend colors. But I like the result. I hardly ever use patterned paper in my cards, mostly because I don't have much (and I don't want to buy it) and what I have is not as cute as I would like for my cards, so it was nice to make my own patterned paper. I will do that more.

I hope you like the card!! For details about the colors visit my blog here.
